Painful Bladder Syndrome

Is bladder pain and discomfort impacting your life? If you experience pain during urination, frequent urination, pain during intercourse, pelvic pain and stress from the discomforts of an unpredictable bladder, it may be time to consider how autoimmunity may be playing a part.

If you have a history of bladder infections, inflammation and have experienced some level of chronic anger in life you may be experiencing an aggravated bladder wall or Interstitial Cystitis.

The good news is that there are wellness practices that can help you find freedom from this often disruptive if not debilitating condition.

I have been diving deep into the urinary system lately and have had people asking for help with painful bladder syndrome or Interstitial Cystitis (IC). There is a link between autoimmunity and IC. That link is gut imbalance and inflammation.

There is no quick fix for IC or autoimmunity in general but with a consistent and targeted approach you can find freedom from flare ups and prevent further tissue damage.

I am excited to curate a program just for you and to support you in your wellness journey. Schedule a Free Wellness Strategy call to explore how.

In the meantime, here are four simple IC wellness tips you can apply right away:

1. Drink plenty of water - you might not be drinking enough as a means to avoid urinating but this will exacerbate the inflammation of your bladder wall.

2. Eliminate caffeine and alcohol - sounds like you are doing this already and I applaud you for that, keep it up!

3. Bring more alkalinity into your body with daily doses of this fresh juice recipe. If you don't have a juicer you can make this into a smoothie with a blender as well. Combine celery, cucumber, a bit of lemon and green apple.

4. Eat non-dairy probiotic rich foods - gut health is directly linked to flare ups of inflammation and autoimmunity. A balanced gut flora will help.Start with a small amount of fermented home-made coconut yogurt and increase to twice a day after observing tolerance. Find recipe in 8/09/2019 bodynew blog post.

Yours in wellness,
